Melanie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Psychology. She moved to Morehead City in 1999 with her husband Jim. She has 2 boys, one freshman and one graduate of NC State, who have both taken manners classes. She has been a stay at home mom and school volunteer for 21 years. Melanie feels that good manners allow us to make a good first impression which is so important. Her favorite part of manners class is teaching kids to dance. She loves how their confidence soars when they learn a new dance step or get comfortable dancing with different partners.
